A well-known musician throughout Fairfield County, Chris has spent more than two decades leading the Good News Gospel Choir and serving as a church musician in parishes and congregations across the region, including most recently at St. Margarite’s Shrine in Bridgeport.
He is a composer, educator, jazz pianist, and director whose love of music spans many styles and traditions. Many parishioners may already recognize him from our annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service, where he has shared his gifts for many years. As a composer, Chris is currently working on his latest obsession: Mass parts… Sanctus, Lamb of God, etc!
He works with his jazz ensemble most weekends, playing concerts and functions and he teaches jazz piano lessons in his studio. He’s a teacher at Montessori school in Wilton. Chris is so excited to be part of St. Matthew Parish and looks forward to helping our community grow in faith through music. Please take a moment to introduce yourself and make him feel welcome.
