Eucharistic Procession on the Feast of Corpus Christi


Sunday, June 23 at 3pm, Led by Bishop Frank J. Caggiano

Eucharistic Processions remind us that our stay here on earth is a journey, and that our final destination is Eternal Life with our Father in heaven. So we will walk together on a journey with the Real Presence of Jesus Christ. We will pray. We will sing. Come. Deanery G Parishes will also be in attendance. It will be magnificent….First Communicants, Confirmandi, Altar Servers, Choirs, Mass Ministers, all Parishioners, Pastoral Council Members & Families.

From St. Matthew Church to St. Ladislaus Church

•2:30pm: Gather together inside the Church.
• 2:50pm: Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
• 3:00pm: Process outside in front of the Blessed Sacrament and Bishop Frank
toward Connecticut Avenue, ending at St. Ladislaus.
• 3:45pm: Benediction at St. Ladislaus Church, followed by Reception.

• RETURN: We have arranged four ECS buses to shuttle us back to the St. Matthew Parking lot.

Those who are unable to walk the Procession can either remain here at St. Matthew to pray the Rosary or if you would like to go to St. Ladislaus by bus for Benediction, we will have an ECS bus available.
