COVID-19 PARISH COMMUNICATIONS

April 20th Update: Masses in the Diocese are temporarily suspended until May 20.

St. Matthew Church remains open for private prayer daily from 9am-7pm, except during our 11am livestreaming of Masses on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Entry into the Church will be with face mask only to slow the spread of COVID 19.

  • No more than five people at one time are allowed in the church.
  • Please observe social distancing of at least six feet to keep everyone safe!
  • Only 5 people should be in church at one time, with 6 feet between people for social distance.
  • The Parish Office is closed, but we are monitoring emails and phones.
  • If this is an emergency, please leave a message for Msgr. If you need to reach him for prayers for a sick family member, for the death of someone call him on his cell 203-246-5785. Please remember to leave your name and your telephone number so that he can return your call.

Dear Friends…All weekday and Sunday public Masses are temporarily suspended in the Diocese, per Bishop Caggiano’s mandate, which supports what Governor Lamont is trying to do to suppress the Coronavirus.  Read more here…
